The Gen To Gen internship program was designed around a single idea: students don't grow by watching. They grow by doing. Inside El Sewedy, that means working on real production lines, real financial models, and real design briefs — with real consequences and real mentors.
In 2025, we welcomed over 80 interns across 8 industries spanning from steel fabrication and electrical panels to HR, IT, and graphic design. Every single one of them left with more than a certificate.

Lighting, steel, cement, ICT, fashion, HR, finance — real departments, real teams.
A month that moves fast. Mentors, projects, factories, and deadlines — just like the real job.
Engineering interns weren't given case studies — they were given live projects. From electrical panel wiring at EMAS to steel structure analysis at ASF, every assignment had a deadline, a reviewer, and a real-world outcome.
SOLIDWORKS models, AutoCAD drawings, production line analyses — all submitted, reviewed, and used. Not archived.
Business, design, and IT interns stepped into departments that run the group day-to-day. Finance interns sat in on actual budget reviews. HR interns drafted real onboarding material. Graphic designers saw their work go live.
No busy work. No fake briefs. Everything you touch here has an owner — and an impact.
The final week ended with a group presentation — every intern, every stream, in front of senior leadership. Not a classroom presentation. A real one, with real feedback, from people who run billion-dollar operations.
Several interns received return offers and full-time calls before they left the building.
